My Story
My name is Jackie and my Scentsy journey began in October 2015. It began with a gift I received from a friend which contained a warmer and 2 Scentsy bars (perfectly pomegranate and blueberry cheesecake)
I LOVED the scents and went out to try and find refills that had the same scent. I could not find these scents anywhere, not even something similar. This is when I realized how limited the selection of fragrance options were with the other companies. So I contacted another friend of mine who I knew sold Scentsy based on her facebook posts. I asked her if she would come and doing a home party for me so I could take advantage of the hostess perks to get some free and discounted products to ease the initial cost of purchasing all my warmers and nightlight plugins.
Well when she came to do the party I was shocked at how many products Scentsy actually offered!!! I had no idea there was more to it than wax and warmers.
Not to mention, it was very easy for me to make the switch to Scentsy once I discovered that all the products are completely non-toxic and what I was currently using for room sprays, car fresheners and plugins - were actually full of harmful chemicals.
What made me decide to join the company as a consultant was the fact that there was no big "start up fee" it was just a $119 Canadian ($99 US), starter kit that I needed to purchase. In that starter kit was EVERYTHING I needed to start making money right away; including this website! I was also very impressed with the compensation plan. The fact that Scentsy does not require you to recruit other consultants in order to get paid made me happy and feel encouraged to just go for it.
Scentsy leaves it up to the consultant to decide if you want to just earn a part time income on the side of what you're currently doing by selling products and earning commission or you can decide to expand your business and build a team of consultants you recruit and eventually replace your full time income. The choice is up to you!!!
